Branding

Branding is more than a logo - it’s what people say about you after you’ve left the room. From discovery workshops and brand guideline documents, through to logo and application, we get to know the heart of your business like it was our own.

How we can help

  • If you’ve been working in your business for a while now, it might be time to ask things like:

    • Are your visuals consistent across internal and external platforms?

    • Is your brand recognisable, or are you starting to blend in?

    • Has your audience changed and are you still relevant to their needs?

    • Is your brand toolkit easy to use (e.g. templates, colours, fonts, logo files)?

    • Are you living out your values through your actions, voice, and visual messaging?

    Your audit includes:

    • A face to face workshop (3 hrs)

    • A summary document and recommendations (specific to the goals we’ve set out in your scope)

  • If you designed your brand yourself, or you never received a brand guideline document, it’s never to late to regroup.

    We can:

    • Audit your existing brand and capture the rules that you are already working to

    • Audit your brand and take the opportunity to reset on some *ahem… loose decisions you’ve been making.

  • A face to face workshop that helps us understand what you do and why.

While it’s a fact finding mission for us, we find that by talking about the bones of their business, our clients walk away feeling invigorated in their passion and have a clearer idea of the path forward.

    Includes:

    • A face to face workshop (5 hrs)

    • A summary document and recommendations* (specific to the goals we’ve set out in your scope)

    • *If continuing into a visual branding project, this information will be summarised in your concept and final brand guidelines.

  • Need to work through a particularly hairy problem, or need guidance on launching your brand to your team and customers? We can come to the table with ideas, advice, and solutions as your creative advisor.

    Includes:

    • Briefing meeting

    • Report of findings and recommendations

  • If you’re juggling a few balls (or knives), let us take them from you.

    We can:

    • Manage multiple suppliers and logistical components of your brand launch or everyday operations

    • Oversee projects to ensure that your brand is represented consistently across all applications

    • Represent you at meetings with other partners

  • The fun doesn’t stop once we deliver your logo. It’s time to roll out your new look to your team and biggest fans.

    We can design:

    • Stationery (business cards, letterheads, greeting cards)

    • Forms

    • Factsheets

    • HR and procedure documents

    • Signage (external, internal, banners, A-frames, and way finding help)

    • Photography (a library of brand imagery, headshots, or special events)

    • Copywriting

    • Printing and production (keep cups, bags, gifts, and more)

Partnering with The Reading Snail

“Oath + Stone worked tirelessly to create the perfect branding for my business”.

They took the time to understand the concept and target audience, and came up with an idea which perfectly represents the business concept and 'speaks' to my clients. I can not recommend Oath + Stone highly enough and hope to work with them again one day!

Christine Wall, The Reading Snail

The Reading Snail mails out books that are great for adults to read with children. By celebrating the act of reading to, or being read to aloud by some who cares about them, The Reading Snail creates an opportunity for families to connect and grow. Their titles are from bespoke publishing houses, primarily written by Australian authors, and are values-driven.

The books they select span a range of themes and topics such as diversity and inclusion, empowerment, assisted reproduction, bullying, self-identify and appreciating your own unique superpowers. They’re intended to spark important conversations to grow connection and foster a love of reading.

We helped facilitate a round table discussion with a focus group, and articulated RS’s foundation brand structure with clear values, a purpose, and a promise to their community. We loved working with a brand that has such an impact on kids and their wellbeing.

Showreel

We're celebrating six years in business by releasing a showreel of our most memorable, vibrant and favourite work.

We've worked with a lot of different businesses over the years, and we're proud of the positive impact we've been able to have in making their visual presence a success.

Our process

We place value where it’s due, and since your brand represents the absolute DNA of your organisation, we give it the time and consideration it needs to last you at least 5 years.

It would be like assembling an IKEA outdoor setting without reading the instructions, and then fearing for your life every time you consider relaxing on the back deck with a marg and bowl of chips. We don’t want you to fall on your tooshie, so we’re going to tighten those screws right from the beginning.

  • We kick off the journey with a workshop and get to know you and your business. We want to know why you get up in the morning, who you serve, and why you love it. By the end of our time together, we have a intimate knowledge and understanding of your:

    • Brand offering - what you’re selling

    • Values - what you stand for

    • Personality and positioning - do you sell coffees by the beach, or make speeches in court?

    • Purpose - why do you get out of bed and turn on the lights in your business?

    • Promise - from the bottom of your heart every day, what will you deliver?

This brand framework inspires us in the visual component of your project, but also feeds into your brand guidelines.

  • With a clear idea of your goals and values, we design a concept that represents it visually. We explore fonts and colours, tone of voice, images and graphics to help your audience know what to expect when they come into contact with any of your brand touch points.

Our policy is to present one concept because we would rather put all our effort into a solution that 100% answers the brief, rather than present two or three for the sake of extra choices that confuse your heart.

The peace of mind that we can offer, is if this concept doesn’t light your fire, we’ll go back to brief and the drawing board.

  • You’ll walk away from this project with:

    • Brand guidelines - A document that includes your brand framework, logo suite, correct usage, fonts, colours, image style, and brand application (e.g. mockup examples).

    • Logo files - Your logo in black, white, and colour (if applicable). We’ll export it in eps, tiff, jpeg (high and low res), and png formats so you’ll be covered in any scenario.

    • Any royalty free images that we’ve used in the design of your mood board.

Who we work with

Let’s do great things together.

Tell us a little more about you, and what you’re looking to create. We’ll be in touch the next business day.
